I Always Win Nose Goes

Walking to my class one day, I passed a kid and he froze. He looked right at me, at my face, that’s what he chose. I asked, “What’s the problem?” and his conflict arose. “You have a huge nose!” said the kid with flip flops and ugly toes. Never had I had someone that cared enough to oppose my preferred airflows. The kid took a second for a chance to compose a withering insult, in his unmatching clothes. He used a joke that only echoes because everyone says it and it really blows. I’m not going to tell it, but I’ll tell you this, it involves my nose imitating a hose. He laughed and laughed like a flock of crows and looked at my face to see my woes. But there were no woes because I was in a doze, at the walking rose behind him, watching her hair as it flows. I must have her name but I should not impose, first to get rid of this un-clever prose. I walk to his face and say to him, my nose has a motto and here’s how it goes, “It sniffs out foes and insecure egos, it leads to the psychos and absolute weirdos, I follow it high and through the lows and I followed it to you and the scent grows.” But for now I must disclose for there is a girl in need of my nose’s hellos.

I don’t quite like the experience of church, but a classic piano rhythm is written on my heart. It sets me free in a single chord. Every note plays a memory in my head. It echoes in my ears like a sustaining pedal. All I can see is the black and white, gently then pounded. The keys to why my eyes close and my vocals hum a tune of insignificant lyrics but of great melody that I become uncontrollable of every action in my body but my worries are non-existent because I know if a song of such great beauty coming from a magnificent Grand Piano is controlling my actions, then I have no reason to fear. I only have reason to let the clefs lift me off my feet as I feel every staccato and fly, allegro, legato around my head, until finally, fine.

It’s time to stop fearing life. It’s time to know that fate is your life. Despite whether you control it or sail with the wind, you have to know that life will never be what you want with high expectations. Life is not a movie where you have time to not care what your outcome will be. Learning from the past, performing in the present, and seeing your future. Fear stops those three stages of life. Fear doesn’t let you think, doesn’t let you act, doesn’t let you see. The life we live is a gift and not some simple video game that allows us to be better than one another. Each life has it’s potential and has it’s power to be the greatest they can be, to conquer fear. You cannot spend your potential on false dreams. But if you want something and you know that when you work for it and earn it, that it will not cause harm to yourself or others, that’s when you’re flying through clouds, swimming in the abyss, that’s when you have took control of your life and did what others say you could not have done.
